It has been a busy month so far! I have been teaching and working on future projects for classes. I am also creating more items to add the Etsy shop. Please stay tuned for updates...
I also have a new class coming up in a few weeks at Whim So Doodle. It is a hodge-podge style mini album that is chock-full of "stuff". There are so many textures and shapes in this book. It was so much fun making this mini.

There is no one theme to it, but I liked the idea of doing a summary/review of 2011. Since 2011 isn't over it is a work in progress, but it could be for a year past or for 2012. It is so versatile in its colors and patterns that it could be for anything really.

Here are the class details.

I am super excited and am looking forward to teaching in the next few weeks. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! ![]()
Wow it is already December! I have started getting ready for Christmas and have been busy busy!
I had such a great time at yesterday's Guild meeting! Our guest speaker was Diana Hollingsworth Gessler. She is so talented and inspirational. I signed up for her upcoming workshop. I am so excited, and am going to make my own blank art journal/scrapbook/sketchbook to bring with me to the class. I will make the book from art paper and book board. Once completed I will share how to make your own blank book in a tutorial. Stay tuned!
Also, for show and tell, I showed my tree that I made over the Thanksgiving weekend. Amanda and I were inspired by the Festive Trees How To in the December 2010 edition of Scrapbooks, etc... so we each made a tree for the holidays. I paired it up with a few other trees I had to make a group. It was a lot of fun. I definitely want to make more!

My embellishment challenge item was poinsettia paperclips. I love office supplies, and any way that I can use them in scrapbooking is always fun for me. So in the spirit of the Christmas holidays I made some flower clips. So easy to do, Heres how:

1. Sandwich a jumbo paper clip between two flowers (can be same size or slightly different, I used the poinsettias by Prima), hold together with a strong adhesive. I like to use Fabri-Tac or Scrappy Glue, let dry.

2. Place a dab of adhesive in the center of the top flower of the sandwich and fill with beads (pictured), or sequins, microbeads, or other fun objects. Let dry.
And that's it! Super fast, super easy and fun!
Thanks for visiting!
